Mary Quant is one of Britain’s most well know designer from the 1960s, her daisy motif is one of the most recognisable logos in fashion. Her childlike unique designs dominated the Kings Road in London where her first shop ‘Bazaar’ opened in the early 1960s. Quant’s designs were at the forefront of the British Youthquake movement and she is accredited with the invention of the Mini Skirt, Hot Pants and Paintbox Makeup.
